Persons who need to be licensed to serve as a Eucharistic Minister or Eucharistic Visitor must take the following courses: Eucharistic Minister Workshop / Eucharistic Visitor Workshop. The Eucharistic Minister and Eucharistic Visitor training sessions will be held sequentially on a single day in the morning and afternoon, respectively. (Please note that the protocols for the EM/EV licenses may be changed in the future.)
- Eucharistic Minister (EM) Workshop
- for persons authorized to administer the consecrated elements at a celebration of
Holy Eucharist. A Eucharistic Minister acts under the direction of a Deacon, if
any, or otherwise, the Member of the Clergy or leader exercising oversight of the
congregation or other community of faith. In order to register, written permission
of clergy in charge of congregation is required. Fee $20, lunch not included.
Participants may register for any workshop regardless of location.
All sessions are held from 9:00am - 12:00pm (unless otherwise noted).
- Eucharistic Visitor (EV) Workshop
- for persons authorized to take the consecrated elements in a timely manner following
a celebration of the Holy Eucharist to members of the congregation who, by reason
of illness or infirmity, were unable to be present at the Celebration. A Eucharistic
Visitor acts under the direction of a Deacon, if any, or otherwise, the Member of
the Clergy or leader exercising oversight of the congregation or other community
of faith. Written permission of clergy in charge of congregation is required. Prerequisite:
Eucharistic Minister Workshop. BOTH workshops must be attended
to obtain an EV license. Current SHE-CAP training is canonically required to
obtain an EV license. Fee $20; lunch not included.

- Ministro Eucar ístico (EM) para personas autorizadas a administrar los
elementos consagrados a una celebración de la Santa Eucaristía. El Ministro Eucarístico
ejerce su ministerio bajo la dirección del Diácono o a falta de éste, bajo el miembro del
clero u otra persona a cargo de la congregación u otra comunidad de fe. (Canónigo
III.4.6) Necesita el permiso del clérigo encargado. Costo $20.
Visitante Eucar ístico (EV) para personas autorizadas para llevar los elementos consagrados oportunamente despues de la celebración de la Santa Eucaristía a los miembros de la congregación que, por razón de enfermedad o debilidad, no les fue posible estar presente para la Celebración. El Visitante Eucarítico ejerce su ministerio bajo la dirección del Diácono, o a falta de éste, el miembro del clero o lider a cargo de la congregación u otra comunidad de fe. (Canónigo III.4.7) Necesita el permiso escrito del clerigo para inscribirse. Éste es un taller de dos días y deben asistirse a los dos para obtener la licencia. Costo $20. NO incluye almuerzo. Talleres de Prevenciòn de mala Conducta Sexual SHE-CAP son requisitos canónicos para obtener la licencia (EV). Se agregarán más talleres en el año de acuerdo con la disponibilidad de instructores.
