SAFE CHURCH

UPDATED POLICIES AND INFORMATION

Safe Church: Diocesan Policies & Information

UPDATED 3/2023

The Diocese of Long Island is committed to assuring that our parishes and institutions are places of safety and well-placed trust, where the Gospel is preached and channels are open to God's grace.

Below you will find newly updated Safe church information.

Safe Church training takes places under the auspices of the Mercer School of Theology and is currently available online at www.praesidiumacademy.com.

No in-person training is available at this time as we are expecting new content from The Episcopal Church as a result of the 2022 Convention.  Please visit the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island website for policies and information on online training supported by Praesidium.

Clergy - please click here to contact Aissa Hillebrand to set up your Safe Church administrator within your parish.
